Warren Frederick lovingly known as "BeatleBailey or Papa" Bailey, 88, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026.
Born July 22, 1937, in Bellingham, Washington, to Lee Orville and Nina Francis (Evans) Bailey, Warren graduated from Bellingham High School and proudly served as a Private First Class in the United States Army during the Post Korean War.
He worked more than 20+ years at the Port of Bellingham, retiring as Manager of the Deep Water Shipping Terminal. After retirement, he worked for the County of Coalgate and volunteered for over 10 years with the Atoka/Coal County Food Storehouse.
Warren married Myrna Teresa Bornstein on September 10, 1994. They shared 31 wonderful years together. He was a member of the Lions Club for more than 30 years and was of the Christian faith.
Warren enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, trains, golf, tractors, rock collecting, and watching airplanes drift across the sky. He loved old Western movies, Ice Road Truckers, good coffee, Bailey's, and ice cream. He loved traveling—especially to the Pacific Northwest— and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
More than anything, Warren loved his family. His steady presence, warm heart, and faithful spirit will live on in all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Myrna Teresa Bailey of the home in Eufaula, Oklahoma; his children: Debra Ann Jannett-Bailey of Vällingby, Sweden; Gary Bailey of Issaquah, Washington; and Lisa Bernhardt of Blaine, Washington; and his grandchildren: Amanda Bernhardt, Ashley Bernhardt, and Marcus Bailey.
He is also survived by his stepchildren: Karroll (Stephanie) Key of Round Rock, Texas; Sherri (Danny) Cochran of Lane, Oklahoma; Teresa (Danny) Anderson of Conroe, Texas; Paula (Pat) Abla of Eufaula, Oklahoma; and Sheila Begley and Breck Woolsey of Dallas, Texas.
His step-grandchildren include: Taylor Key; Sydney Key and Adam Franco; Major Key; Ashlynn Key; Jed and Mak Cochran; Caleb and Edyn Cochran; Micah and Melanie Cochran; Laramie Cochran; Reagan Cochran; Madison and Josh McKenzie; Kayla Poore and Miller Storm; Jackilyn and Landon Pollock; Randahl and Elizabeth Lillard; Adrian Lillard; Amber and Steven Padilla; Brandy and Mark Johnston; Celeste and James Moralez; Jozey Begley; Alex and Ramzi Reda; Hunter Begley; Cliffton and Amy Hill; and Thomas Chance Wilson.
He is further survived by his brother, Bruce (Chris) Bailey; dear cousin and friend, Dave (Netta) Bailey; the mother of his children, Harriet Gustafson; Helen Squire; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and dearly loved friends.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Orville and Nina Francis (Evans) Bailey; his brothers, Gary Bailey and Darryl Bailey; and his step-son-in-law, Darrin Begley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Atoka/Coal County Food Storehouse in Warren's honor or may be made to a veterans organization of your choice in Warren's memory.
