NAME: Wesley Willard Sherrard, age 85, a longtime Lane, OK resident.
BORN: He was born on Monday, January 18, 1932, to Willard Little and Alice Grace (Stone) Sherrard, at Dallas, TX.
PASSED AWAY: Wesley passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Lane, OK.
AGE: 85 years, 1 month and 26 days.
EDUCATION: He graduated Sunset High School in Dallas, TX.
OCCUPATION: Wesley served his country in the Army for 23 years. He did two tours of Korea and three tours of Vietnam. He later retired from the state of Oklahoma.
MARRIED: He married Takako "Peggy" (Shiraki) on Tuesday, April 15th, 1952 at Fukuoka, Japan. They had 64wonderful years together.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Wesley was a member of the DAV, Purple Heart Association, 11th Airborne, 101st Airborne, 187th Airborne RLT, 25th Infantry Division, and the Army National Guard.
