West Lee Terrence Barris, age 40, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Wednesday, May 11, 1983, to Terrence and Lisa Machel (Cunningham) Barris, at Durant, OK. West passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Atoka, OK.He graduated from Atoka High School with the Class of 2001, graduated from Murray State, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Conservation from SOSU. West was a Roustabout worker in agriculture.West enjoyed working with his hands. He loved hunting, fishing, and crafting.
West is survived by his daughter, Brooklin Barris of Atoka, OK, brother, Jared Barris of Bethel Acres, OK, grandmother, Doris Barris of Atoka, OK, aunts, Renita Williams of Atoka, OK, Pam Copeland and husband Brad of Atoka, OK, nephew, Nathanule Barris, nieces, Annalise Barris, Evelynne Barris,
along with numerous cousins and dear friends.
West is preceded in death by his parents, Terrence and Lisa Machel (Cunningham) Barris, paternal grandfather, Tommy Barris, maternal grandparents, Bill and Rita Cunningham.
