Obituary William "Paul" Gossett age 83, a longtime Caddo area resident, was born on January 25, 1928, to Knox and Cordie (Graham) Gossett, at Post Oak, Ok. Paul passed away on June 8, 2011, at Durant, Ok. He attended Atoka, Kiowa, and Buckholt Schools. Paul worked for Ok Iron and Metal for over 50 years. He Served his country in Korea where he received two bronze stars. He married Norma in 1959, she preceded him in death. Paul was of the Baptist faith, he enjoyed cutting wood, and loved all animals. Paul is survived by his sister, Laverne Valdez of Del City, Ok.; sister-in-law, Opal Gossett of Caney, Ok., Norma Gossett of Palestine, Tx.; special niece, Janice Crites and husband R.J. of Caney, Ok.; special friend, James Clark and wife Betsy of Pleasant Hill, Ok.; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
