OBITUARY NAME: William Freeland "Johnny" Johnson age 91, an Atoka area resident. BORN ON: He was born on August 16, 1918, to William Henry and Gertrude Bell (Amos) Johnson, in Oklahoma. PASSED AWAY: Johnny passed away on March 7, 2010 in California EDUCATION: He was interested in finance, and was a lifelong student of that discipline and had amasses enough college credits to warrant a degree in business. MARRIED: Johnny married Anna Bell (Betts) Johnson. OCCUPATION: He was a WWII veteran, and spent 30 years in the service of his country with the U. S. Army and Air Force. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: He was a longtime Free Mason and member of the "Veterans of Foreign Wars" Johnny was the last surviving sibling, and lived a long and fruitful life of 91 years. He was a man of strong Christian faith and his actions always reflected those beliefs. He was instrumental in bringing all his brothers and sisters to the Lord before they passed away and is, no doubt, with them all now. He made many friends and touched the lives of many more during his lifetime. SURVIVED BY He is survived by his son-in-law and daughter, Robert and Anna Gail Henderson, his grandchildren, Carey Adams and James Adam Henderson, and his great grandchildren, Kylee Alexis Chelbana and Caden Robert Adams, all of Riverside, CA. Johnny is also survived by his Sister-in-law, "Bobby" Johnson, niece and nephew, Frankie and J Pumphrey of Muskogee, OK, cousins, Richard and Louisa Betts and Estelle Hinson, and his good friend Frank Henderson, of Atoka, OK. ****************************************************************************** DATES OF SERVICE: Monday, March 15, 2010at 2pm PLACE OF SERVICE: Wards Chapel Baptist Church INTERMENT: Wards Chapel Cemetery OFFICIATING: Rev.
