William Daniel Rutledge, age 54, a Ada, OK resident for the past 2-3 months, formerly a longtime Kiowa, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, November 17, 1964, to Melvin and Katherine (Rutledge) Davis, at Clinton, OK. Danny passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Hartshorn High School. Danny was a truck driver for Phipps-Murphy Green House in Kiowa, OK. He married Tonya (Mitchell) on October 11, 1992 at Kiowa, OK. They enjoyed 27 years of marriage. Danny was a Pentecostal and attended Praise Fellowship in Kiowa. He loved hunting and fishing, gardening, working in the green house and spending time with family.
Danny is survived by his wife, Tonya Rutledge of the home in Ada, OK; children, Miranda Rutledge and Brian Pope of Coalgate, OK, Kayla Mitchell of Kiowa, OK, Brittani Rutledge and Cody Ham of Atoka, OK, Kimberli Rutledge and Ty Wiseman of Carney, OK, Jazmyne McNeely of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Brady Lopez, Lukaus Wiseman, Brookelyn Lopez; brothers, Floyd Davis of Frederick, OK,  Dale Davis and wife Delia of Frederick, OK, Dennis Davis of Frederick, OK, Richard Davis of Frederick, OK; nephews, Christopher Furr, Chris Davis, Tommy Mitchell; sister in law, Regina Furr; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Katherine (Rutledge) Davis; grandparents that raised him, Walter and Mary Rutledge; several aunts and uncles; father in law, Jacky Mitchell; brother in law, Bo Mitchell.
