William Edward Underwood, age 52, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, October 19, 1969, to Michael and Cheryl Lea (Parrish) (Pittman) Underwood, at Pontiac, MN.
William passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Phoenix High School and received an Associate's Degree from Murray State College. William was a welder and painter for Fincher and Sons., previously worked a number of years for McDonald's as an Assistant Manager and also worked as an Assistant Manager at KFC. He married Shawn Marie (Hughes) on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 at Atoka, Oklahoma. They Spent 14 wonderful years together. William loved making everyone laugh, general wood work and music.
William is survived by his wife, Shawn Marie Underwood of the home in Atoka, OK; daughters, Emily Gray and fiance Christopher Cartlidge of Atoka, OK, Chasity Casey and husband Cordera of Atoka, OK, Billie Jo Underwood of Arizona; grandchildren, Hailea Westervelt of Atoka, OK, Taylor Westervelt of Atoka, OK, Emmalynne Hostetler of Atoka, OK, Gracelynne Casey of Atoka, OK, Chawn Casey of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Michael Underwood Jr. and wife Mindy of Arizona, Ulysses Underwood of Arizona; mom that raised him, Linda Thompson of Arizona; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Underwood and Cheryl Lea (Parrish) Pittman; father that raised him, Earl Pittman.
