Willie "Wendy" Lee (Rustin) LaCaze, age 76, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, September 20, 1942, to Rufus Walter and Minnie (Carter) Rustin, at Delhi, LA. Wendy passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Atoka, OK. She attended Oak Grove High School in Louisiana.
Wendy was a nurse's aide in a hospital and nursing home in Louisiana. She was of the baptist faith. Wendy enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Wendy is survived by her children, James Turner and wife Cecilie of Atoka, OK, Lorna Townsend and husband Roy of Pleasant Valley, IA, Kevin Turner of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, James Turner Jr. and wife Laura of Ft. Benning, GA, William Turner and wife Vanessa of Wapanucka, OK, Kayla Townsend of Pleasant Valley, IA, Kara Lambert and husband Daniel of Brandon, MS, Destiny Turner of Pearl, MS, Lane Turner of Pearl, MS; 7 great grandchildren; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Wendy is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Minnie (Carter) Rustin; son, Ronald Turner; sister, Sybil Delesio.
