PASSED AWAY: October 26, 2009 AGE: 76 yr. 8 mo and 2 days EDUCATION He attended high school in Grandfield, OK where he played football and was FFA King. Don joined the Army in 1951 and served in the Korean War from 1951-1953. Don was a master carpenter and built homes until his retirement in 1999. Don loved working in the yard, building things in his workshop and was an avid reader. He loved his home and neighborhood in Kingston, OK which is where he chose to live the final years of his life. MARRIED TO: June Hamilton on September 23, 1982 in Enid, OK. OCCUPATION, CHURCH, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Master carpenter, working in his yard, building things in his workshop and was an avid reader. SURVIVED BY WIFE: June of 27 years CHILDREN: Mel Bomhoff of Oklahoma City, Phil Maxwell and wife Kelly of ElReno, OK Sherri Pryor and husband Larry of Yukon, OK. Teresa Maxwell of Oklahoma City, Bill Maxwell and wife Terri of Columbus, Ohio.
