Wilva Beth Jackman, age 88, an Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Thursday, April 2, 1936, to Jesse Franklin and Cora Reva (Anderson) Masters, at Hale County, TX. Wilva passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Farmersville, TX. She graduated from Hollis High School with the Class of 1954 and went on to attend Murray State College in Tishomingo, OK. Wilva was a Line Worker for IMO and retired in 2001. She met Burl Cleburn Jackman on a blind date. They married on Saturday, January 18th, 1958 at the First Baptist Church in Tishomingo, OK. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage together before his passing in 2014.
Wilva was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. She loved sewing, crafting, baking and raising her family. She looked forward to the holidays so she could spend time with everyone.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharry Feagin and husband Bill of Merit, TX, Janice Maupin and husband Don of Campbell, TX, Jackquline Martin and husband Larry of Nevada, TX, Melinda Garcia and husband Ralph of Royse City, TX; grandsons, Doyle Jackman and wife Jessica of Wylie,TX, Justin Feagin and wife Linzi of Calera, OK, Dodd Stamey of Murphy, TX, Ryan Stamey and fiance Dominique of Garland, TX, Michael Garcia of Royse City, TX, Mark Garcia of Royse City, TX; granddaughter,     Jessica England of Merit, TX; great grandkids, Cason, Leah, Wittly, Tyler, Kylee, Kayden, Braelynn, Bowen, Remi, Makayla, Chloe, Lindy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilva is preceded in death by her father Jesse Franklin Masters; mother, Cora Reva (Anderson) Jackson; husband, Burl Cleburn Jackman; granddaughters, Lindy Ann Maupin, Melissa Ann Carpenter; all of her brothers and sisters.
