Winona Gene (Gayle) Hedgecock, age 62, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, January 29, 1958, to Paul and Bertha Louise (Bear) Gayle, at Durant, OK.
Winona passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Atoka, OK. She attended Durant High School and later went on to attend college. Winona was a homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed reading, loved animals, learning and most of all taking care of children.
Winona is survived by her partner, Larry Parker of Atoka, OK; children, Crystal Hedgecock of Oklahoma, Randall Millard of Atoka, OK, Carrie Millard of Durant, OK, Brian Hedgecock and fiancé Lisa of Midwest City, OK; mother, Bertha Gayle of Durant, OK; sisters, Janie Abshere of Lavaca, AR, Jody Christensen and husband Jeff of Emory, TX, Katie Krebs and husband Larry of Kenefic, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Winona was preceded in death by her father, Paul Gayle; brother, Fred Edwin Gayle.
