Woodrow W. Childers, age 100, a Coalgate resident, passed away on November 28, 2019 at Coalgate, OK. He was born on December 15, 1918, to Andrew Jackson & Pearl Lavida (Powell) Childers, at Pine, OK. Woodrow was a Rancher. Woodrow married Betty Jo File on January 13, 1942 at Atoka, OK. She preceded him in death on December 24, 2014. Woodrow was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed raising cattle & horses. Later in life, his greatest enjoyment was working in his yard. SURVIVED BY: DAUGHTERS; Cheryl Hays of OKC, OK., Carol Wilson & husband Jim of Ada, OK. GRANDCHILDREN; Antoinetta Hubbard, Chris Wilson, Brandon Acosta, Michael Phillips, 6-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, dearly loved family & friends.
